C2C CAL Progress

 

 

My progress on the Carpenter's Wheel C2C crochet along.  I'm loving it, it's really starting to show the pattern emerging.

Baby Blanket

 

Corner to Corner crochet blanket in a marbled green and cream baby yarn.

 

The border is done in cream.

 

The blanket measures 30" x 36" and is available for sale

Square 9

 

This one took me three attempts to get right on round 3 and 4 and I had to start it from scratch twice.  I like the look of it, but I don't think I'll be doing another one.

Happy Valentines Day

I have never done a graphghan before and found this freebie design to try.

Thought I'd give this a go and see how it went.

 

I'm going to do a plain back to it and make it into a cushion and will put it up for auction to try and help raise some funds for a friend's little niece's vital physiotherapy after her operation - the NHS won't fund it.  We're trying to raise £30,000.  Lily's Little Legs

365 Days Crochet Along

 

365 days of granny squares crochet along and these are mine so far. 

 

I've not been doing this for a few days and I'm way behind, but it is my intention to do a couple each day to try my best to catch up.

C2C Carpenter's Wheel Afghan So Far

 

My carpenter's wheel afghan so far.

I love it, but can't wait to see the pattern start to form in the centre.

My Pear Tree

 

 

My pear tree in full blossom, along with 4 pears tiny pears.

 

I know it's far too early, it shouldn't be happening for months yet, but this mild weather we're having is doing strange things.  The plants are all confused.

I'm loving this crochet along.  I must get a picture with them all to see how it looks so far.

Baby Blanket

I was asked if I could make a baby blanket in blues and greys.  This is a beautiful combination yarn and was so soft to work with.

 



 

The border is done in white and makes it stand out.

 



 

I was asked to put the initials and date of birth on the finished piece and I chose to put it on the corner (not shown).

 

I'm really pleased with how this blanket turned out.

I really enjoyed crocheting this square, the pink flowers do actually sit up so it's more 3D.

I'm actually behind on the CAL, so must start doing a couple a day to catch up.

Birthday Cards

I'm way behind on this 365 granny square CAL.

 

I've not felt great, having had a fall a couple of weeks ago banging my knee and my right arm.  The way I put my hand out to stop myself from falling flat on my face obviously caused internal bruising on my upper arm, making it painful to lift very high and making me just feel sick with the pain.  My neck and shoulder were sore too.

 

The bruising is still visible on my knee.  My arm is getting better, but is still painful and I can't lift it above my head without some pain (makes washing my hair more difficult), but I'll just keep taking painkillers and see if my daughter will give me a massage to help ease the pain.
